Lighting “quartz lamp”

A product designer, Kodai Iwamoto, designed this lighting.  The design mesh covers the light bulb and creates light diffusion which brings a sparkling effect like a crystal.  This project was acheiveable because of the mesh’s unique contradicting characteristics: metallic luster and smoothness.
