About the architect:

Established in Tokyo in 2023, YOKOMAE et BOUAYAD is a partnership led by the Japanese architect Takuma YOKOMAE and the Moroccan architect Ghali BOUAYAD. It is an international team working on projects across Asia, Africa and Europe. The main office is located in Tokyo, and will be supported by new studios in Morocco from fall 2025.

They design a wide range of projects from small-scale locations such as pavilions, exhibition halls, and private residences, to medium- and large-scale locations such as apartment buildings and hotels.
